Free until Carma works for you

In any week or month your company earns less through Carma than its subscription costs, the subscription is free.Above that, you pay 50% of what you earn beyond it, and the full price only once you earn 3 times it.The yearly plan is paid in advance and has no guarantee.Earnings means fares, waiting fees and cancellation fees paid through Carma, by all your company's drivers, less refunds.

What you need

If you hold the taxi licence yourself, both lists are yours.

To drive

  • Vipps, with BankID
  • A valid driver permit (kjøreseddel)
  • A place at a company that holds a taxi licence, or your own company
  • Your published price list

For the company

  • A taxi licence and an organisation number
  • A dispatch centre that allows other booking apps
  • A car registered as a taxi
  • A Stripe account for payouts
  • A subscription plan. No card is needed to start.
Every Carma ride is keyed into your taximeter as a fixed price, as you do for other apps today.If your centre forbids other booking apps, you cannot drive with Carma yet.

How you start

If you drive for a company

  • Ask the company for an invitation link.
  • Open it on your phone, and accept with Vipps.
  • Add your driver permit and your prices.
  • The company activates your seat when it has a free one.

If you hold the licence

  • Get the driver app and sign in with Vipps.
  • Register your company: the organisation number, your dispatch centre, Stripe for payouts, and a plan.
  • Add your car, your driver permit and your prices.
  • Invite the other drivers who share the car.
